...For Dappled Things is a collection of short stories, each one featuring one vocal line and four 'found sounds' all recorded on mobile phone, with up to three extra cello lines per story.

Each track is mixed, produced, sound-designed and mastered by me in my studio here at home.

I wanted to produce a series of shorter pieces, and also see what I could create using limited material, without pitch or harmonic consideration at the outset. This collection of short pieces is a public document of my journey in sound design and production, a continual learning curve!

I will add tracks to this album as and when, and they will always be available to you for free, with love from me. If you are able to make a donation that's great, if not that's great, and I hope you enjoy my explorations in sound!

released October 2, 2022

1. La Loba's Song ft. Lucie Dehli, plus a bounced yoga ball, a rainstorm, a candle burning and a cereal packet being crushed.

2. Tamesas ft Jake Harding, the old Mersey ferry, a jar of jelly beans and some drunk enthusiastic people.
