about

Channelling the earthy, primal and spiritual in music, Jo Quail presents two three-song cycles in the form of this album, ‘Invocation’ and ‘Supplication’. The acclaimed, award-winning composer and cellist composed the two pieces with the artists Maria Franz (Heilung) and Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari in mind and their breath-taking voices are a key element on the respective EP’s. Franz taking the centre stage on ‘Invocation’ and Fornasari on ‘Supplication’. Dare to take on Quail’s wild, boundless soundscapes, enriched by two of the most powerful voices in contemporary music.
